Remembering Aldo Joseph Tesi

Aldo Joseph Tesi died peacefully at home on July 3, 2011 in Placerville at the age of 81.

Aldo was born in San Francisco and was a long term resident of Daly City and San Mateo, CA. He enjoyed a career with Tesi Drayage and Pen Bullet Express. Aldo always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He had a knack for making friends and keeping them over his lifetime. Aldo loved to play golf and happily took money from his buddies at San Mateo and Cold Spring golf clubs. Aldo was blessed with two wonderful marriages, first to Mary Devencenzi who died in 1978 and then to Teresa Sniff who died in 2008. Aldo's greatest joy was his grandchildren and they adored him. Aldo was predeceased by his parents, Lotario and Emilia Tesi, siblings Teseo Tesi and Tina La Rocca. He is survived by his loving companion, Sunny Culy, son and daughter-in-law Aldo and Liz Tesi, grandchildren Aldo, Gina, and Monica Tesi, stepdaughters Sally Commerford, Sandra Pasquale, and Sheri Coulon and their families, and Aldo's sisters Thea Roberts, Lena Harris, and Laura Barone.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church in Placerville at 11am on Saturday, July 9. Reception to follow at Cold Springs Country Club. Private interment at a later date.
